Welcome to the Grammy-winning artists Toots and the Maytals.

Check out where Toots is currently performing live, browse the complete discography, shop for songs and clothing, and take a look at the Toots Foundation for Children.

Toots and the Maytals are credited with coining the word "Reggae" on their 1968 single "Do the Reggay." Until that time Reggay was a dance fad in Jamaica and was not associated with the style of music played by bands we now consider Reggae musicians.

So welcome to the place where that music you love so much was born. Welcome to the home of Toots and the Maytals.

Toots and the Maytals Star Studded Summer.

Toots and the Maytals finished their summer tour playing with international super stars. It all started with 3 dates in August with The Rolling Stones in Finland, Sweden and Denmark. Toots has played more dates than any other band with The Rolling Stones in the last 5 years and they always treat us great. The day after leaving The Rolling Stones the band flew to the U.S. to begin 5 shows on the East coast with The Dave Mathews Band. Toots joined Dave and his band for "Warehouse", a Dave Mathews hit. After the last Dave Mathews date, Toots and the band flew to the west coast for 4 shows with Los Lonely Boys and then back to the east coast for 2 shows at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots with Jimmy Buffet. We would like to thank these great artists for their support and kindness.
